Oriented strand boards (OSB)

OSB-3

OSB (Oriented Strand Boards) are wood composite material produced out of long, thin chips, so-called strands. The plates consist of three cross-oriented layers, the outer layers of the plates are oriented in the longitudinal direction, and in the middle they are arranged in the transverse direction. This different orientation of the individual layers ensures high parameter stability and excellent mechanical characteristics.
OSB-3 – the most common type of OSB plates with high bending resistance, compressive and tensile strength. Due to high moisture resistance, it can be applied outside. Depending on the thickness, used for formwork, construction of frame houses, floor structures, different types of plating.
