UNDERLAY MEMBRANES

Underlay bitumen membranes are used for pitched roofs as an underlaying waterproofing layer for roofing shingles and other roofing materials. Difference between the external and internal temperature leads to the formation of ice on the roof surface, whereby water can penetrate. Underlay material is a reliable protection during the formation of ice on the roof. In case of the rain with strong wind is possible the penetration of moisture under the top layer of the roof and the occurrence of leakage in exposed locations. Use of underlay materials helps to prevent cases of leakage roof protects roofing pie.

TECHNOELAST K-MS 170/3000

TECHNOELAST K-MS 170/3000 is a polyester based Underlay, saturated and coated with high quality SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen. The membrane is finished with fine-grained sand on both sides. Material can be used as underlays in built up waterproofing systems or as vapour barriers on new built or refurbished flat roofs as well as part of overlay

systems to existing asphalt waterproofing.
Not recommended for use as single ply waterproofing.

YEP 2200

The material is intended for the installation of the lower layer of the slanted roof or for the development of the vapour insulation of the flat roofs. May be used as a sub-layer under bitumen tiles, valcprofile metal and other roof coverings. This material is not recommended for single-layer roofing or single-layer waterproofing.

Application method: affixed mechanically with the nails of the pap in the arc of the material.
