EXPANDED CLAY AGGREGATE

Expanded clay aggregate is a building material-filler – artificially formed and burned clay, which is obtained by rapidly burning clay in a rotating oven. Expanded clay aggregate is a perfect thermal insulation material, environmentally safe, light, not influenced by time, which is four times lighter than natural materials, such as sand. Very often expanded clay aggregate is applied: as pouring in addition on weak soils – weight compensation and thermal insulation, soil insulation, for buildings foundation depth reduction and heat-insulation, drainage of foundation, production of light-weight concrete, for making thermal- and sound insulation layer, for forming of slope of flat roofs and their isolation, for smoothing and insulation of interfloor overlappings, floor installation, gardening, floriculture and greening.
